About ABC Languages

Presentation of our services

ABC Languages’ field of activity encompasses three interdisciplinary areas:

• didactic: Romanian, English and French Courses, linguistic projects.
• linguistic: translations from/ into Romanian – English – French
• compositional: functional text writing: speech writing, web writing, invitations, advertising

The course department is three-fold in structure: ABC Romanian, ABC English and ABC French. These three components dynamically interact, each of them being simultaneously either the language taught or the teaching language for the others. Each of them is presented in a separate page and in an accessible manner.

The foreign language courses offered by ABC Languages are designed on a model of gradual development of linguistic skills and in accordance with the Strasbourg Common European Framework of reference for languages.

A foreign language is learned in order to be spoken; this is why our courses offer you the chance to learn and/or to consolidate a foreign language through communicative methods.

These methods are tailored to your needs. For instance, the “communication” in the initial classes at Beginner level is restricted to short sentences, such as greetings and introduction phrases. Later on, after having acquired a minimal base structure, (i.e. when the student begins to recognize grammar structures and to express themselves albeit with mistakes), grammar and lexical consolidation follows, and this shows efficient learning and development.
